I’m Nicole, the heart and hands behind Haven Beauty Collective, and the founder of By Nicole Naturally, the umbrella that shelters all my creative offerings and soulful work. With 20+ years in the beauty industry and a background as a Tri-Licensed Artist, I’ve worn many hats (and styled many heads), but at my core, I’m a woman who believes beauty should never come at the cost of belonging.
My journey began in Las Vegas, moved through Southern California, and eventually brought me to Illinois: carrying with me not just a toolkit of techniques, but a calling to create spaces where transformation feels like home.
Beyond the techniques, my work has always been about people. I've had the honor of walking alongside women through their everyday moments and major milestones. Often, they arrived hoping for a change in appearance, yet what they truly needed was a soft place to land. A moment to exhale. A gentle reminder of the beauty and strength already within them.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of walking beside women through big changes, fresh starts, and everyday moments. What started as a haircut often turned into a sacred pause, a moment to exhale. To release. To remember the beauty that’s been there all along.
In 2014, I opened my first studio: Salon Refuge a quiet escape for my clients, and truthfully, a safe place I was building for myself. But in 2024, life handed me a plot twist. The engagement ended. The vision cracked wide open. And in the ashes, something even more aligned was born.
Haven Beauty Collective is the reimagined, heart-led evolution of that first dream. It's not just a salon. It’s a sanctuary. A soul-rooted space to come exactly as you are and leave feeling fully in your power.

I’m a mama, a dog lover, and a firm believer that live music, slow mornings, and deep conversations can heal just about anything. I’m also the co-creator of Memories on the Move, a mobile photo cart experience that helps families create lasting memories, one story-driven session at a time.
