I’m Nicole, the heart behind Haven Beauty Collective. With over 20 years in the beauty industry and a background as a Tri-Licensed Artist, my journey began in Las Vegas, continued through seasons in Southern California, and eventually led me home to Illinois. Along the way, I found deep purpose in the art of color, extensions, and special occasion styling, freelancing across 22 unforgettable seasons.
Beyond the techniques, my work has always been about people. I've had the honor of walking alongside women through their everyday moments and major milestones. Often, they arrived hoping for a change in appearance—yet what they truly needed was a soft place to land. A moment to exhale. A gentle reminder of the beauty and strength already within them.

In 2014, that vision took shape in the form of Salon Refuge—a quiet escape from the noise of the world. After my own personal rebirth in 2024, the space evolved into Haven Beauty Collective, a sanctuary rooted in creativity, care, and confidence. It’s more than a salon—it’s a space to come as you are, and leave feeling more like yourself.
Whether I’m crafting your perfect style or guiding you through gentle confidence coaching, my mission remains the same: to create an experience that honors your story and leaves an imprint of encouragement, beauty, and self-trust.
Outside the salon, you’ll often find me out in the community supporting local small businesses and the meaningful causes they champion. I also spend time curating story-driven sets for The Capture Cart by Memories on the Move, a collaborative venture with LHV Photography that brings creativity and connection into motion.
At home, I’m grounded by what matters most—my loved ones, including the gift this life has given me in my daughter and our three beloved pups. I find joy in slow mornings, live music, heartfelt travel, and all the simple moments that make life feel beautifully full.
